If there is no training assigned to a profile in The Learning Centre (TLC), this could mean one of two things:
1) Both the 'Manager of' field AND the 'Member of' field was completed.
If the profile has a role in both the 'Manager of' AND the 'Member of' field, the system does not know the visibility, security and/or courses to assign.
SOLUTION: ORCA can see these profiles and can add a role to complete the profile. Please email [email protected] with the employees name, username and the role they should have for your community and we will add them to your community in TLC.
*If the profile does not have roles in both fields, please continue below.
2) A role was not added to the profile.
The role chosen for a profile informs TLC of:
- the security to add to the profile.
- which compliance and/or site specific courses to add to the profile
- visibility restrictions (if any) for the profile.
If there is no role added to a profile, the user can still login with the username and password you created, but they will not have the proper training assigned and/or the visibility they require in TLC.
